Children's Parties at Birthday Dreams

We have created a Magical Fairy Tale Forest within Kinloch Castle to provide families with all the elements needed to ensure a most fantastic and memorable party experience.

the day of your party

Kinloch Castle is approached via a small park and children's playground. On entering reception the birthday child and party guests are greated by a member of staff who will welcome them, provide them with a name badge and some entertainment while they await any further guests.

At party time the birthday child and guests walk through the pages of our storybook to create their very own story in the spectacular Kingdom of Kinloch!

The character entertainer is supported by an assistant to provide the best of party entertainment.

While the children are having a wonderful time parents may relax in our beautiful cafe where refreshments are served to a backdrop of great music.

Now we come to a break for the party food and the cutting of the cake. The birthday child sitting on the royal throne is presented with a beautiful cake and everyone joins in wishing them "Happy Birthday!".The second half of the entertainment begins now and continues to the end of the party. As children depart from Kinloch Castle they are given a party bag containing gifts relevant to the party and organic snacks and sweets.

The duration of a party is two hours. Additional children above 15/24 are charged at £15.00 per head. There is an additional charge of £20.00 for 'shared' parties.

A closer look at a Birthday Dreams Party at Kinloch Castle

Birthday Dreams Parties are based around storytelling. Using traditional party games familiar to the children we enhance the story and support the creative play. There are a host of games, such as Pass the Parcel, Blind Man's Bluff, Grandma's footsteps, what's the time Mr. Woolf to name but a few. For younger children we create more visual entertainment employing the use of colourful parachutes, balloons, bubbles and puppetry alongside familiar songs. Wind the bobbin up is a firm favourite. All games and activities during the party are linked to your chosen theme. For example instead of what's the time Mr. Woolf, at a Fairy Party it might be 'what's the time Fairy Queen'.

All parties are individually planned taking into account the age of the birthday child and their guests. We also consider the personality of the Birthday child and any special requests/requirements they may have, which could be included in their party plan.

Generally the first part of the party lasts for an hour. There is then a break for food and refreshments, cake etc. To re-engage with the children the entertainer will do something quiet for the first five minutes such as magic, further storytelling, or balloon art. The party tempo is then raised, with lots of Dancing Games, Statues, Bumps, Limbo and so on. Finally the children will sing again the Birthday Song to the Birthday child signaling the end of the party.

Where possible all character entertainers facilitate themed parties in full costume.
