Below is a brief summary of a Birthday Dreams party plan. I thought it useful to also let you know about other services we offer.

Birthday Dreams Parties are based around storytelling. Using traditional party games familiar to the children we enhance the story and support the creative play. There are a host of games, such as Pass the Parcel, Blind Man's Bluff, Grandma's footsteps, what's the time Mr Woolf to name but a few. For younger children we create more visual entertainment employing the use of colourful parachutes, balloons, bubbles and puppetry alongside familiar songs. Wind the bobbin up is a firm favourite. All games and activities during the party are linked to your chosen theme. For example instead of what's the time Mr Woolf, at a Fairy Party it might be 'what's the time Fairy Queen'.

All parties are individually planned taking into account the age of the birthday child and their guests. We also consider the personality of the Birthday child and any special requests and requirements they may have, which could be included in their party plan.

Generally the first part of the party lasts for an hour. There is then a break for food and refreshments, cake etc. To re-engage with the children the entertainer will do something quiet for the first five minutes such a magic, further storytelling, or balloon art. The party tempo is raised now with lots of dancing games, Statues, Bumps, Limbo and so on. Finally the children will sing again the Birthday Song to the Birthday child signalling the end of the party.

All character entertainers facilitate the party in full costume and bring along with them all the music and props needed to ensure a super party.
